The Site Coordinator will serve as the site team lead to provide oversight and management of survey data collection to determine the prevalence of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and risk behaviours among key and vulnerable populations and their population size in the selected survey sites, with support from the ICAP and NBS Bio-behavioural survey (BBS) team.

JOB TITTLE: Bio-behavioral Survey Coordinator


ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks Bio-behavioral Survey Coordinator to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Bio-behavioral Survey (BBS) Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and technical oversight of the bio-behavioral surveys (BBS) among key populations (KP) under the CDC–funded project Comprehensive Community-Based HIV Prevention, Linkage, and Retention Services for Key Populations – NU2GGH001941. The BBS Coordinator will work closely with the ICAP Tanzania Leadership Team, including the Country Director and Director of Prevention Services to coordinate all aspects of the BBS.  Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, leading the development of the protocol, implementation of the bio-behavioral surveys among KP, coordinating data analysis and dissemination, and communicating with the CDC and ICAP in New York.
